It is not easy to find someone who transmits authenticity and inspires you. And once you find that person, chances are even lower that they talk about the area of your interest. However, I was lucky to come across someone who brings all of that together.

Simon Sinek is an inspirational writer and speaker. Most people know him from his theory of the "Golden Circle". He first presented this idea at a TED Talk conference in 2009. The video is the 4th most viewed of all TED talks with 57 million views.

Despite this is his most famous theory and the one that made him famous, his ideas neither begin nor end here. Equally powerful are his other ideas that he has published in recent years in books such as “Leaders Eat Last” or “The Infinite Game”.

The ideas he shares are focused on leadership and business management. But it goes further. It talks about relationships between people, values, trust, transformation, and the importance of finding a mission to feel fulfilled.

I would love to, but I can't explain every single one of his ideas in detail in just one article. I will surely end up writing more about all of this on the blog. Dedicating an article for each of the ideas in his talks and books. Commenting on it in more detail and giving my point of view.

I recommend him because he explains in a very clear and simple way many concepts, such as how company leaders have to focus on the management of people and the business itself. Because Sinek's ideas are disruptive and help any person or company to grow. For example by giving the keys to find your mission or how he refers to as "why".

But not everything is focused on the professional field. He also speaks a lot about our personal relationships, why millennials are the way they are, personal success, the damage done by comparing ourselves with other people, etc.

Few people can transmit as much as he can just with a video or book. His content is inspiring and I think this makes him special. But I am also aware that his ideas will not convince everyone. I encourage you to see some of his videos. If something moves inside you, welcome to the fan club. Doing the next step and changing the way you see your professional career or your way of understanding things will only depend on you.
